Kiln Firing Schedules: Bullseye Flat Fuse Schedule

The following are firing schedules that I use and were passed onto me by my teachers or reliable sources. Firing schedules are like cooking recipes - everyone has a slightly different one. The schedule is a guide only and we only recommend you use at your own risk.

Bullseye Flat Fuse Schedule
Segment Ramp Rate (°C) Ramp up to (°C) Hold/Soak Period
1 275 960* 45 minutes
2 350 750 -
3 100 100 -

* This is very hot and meant for large items and 3 or more layers thick. If fusing pendants or smaller pieces  between 770- 800°C is a more appropriate. Some dichroic prefers the cooler range.
