Gary Lisle
|
| He is well known by local beaders for heating thick glass
rods in the flame without warming them up first. Ed Note: I suspect
Gary takes great delight watching his audience cringe as he places 8-10mm
rods straight into the flame. " I know where it will go" he says
with a cheeky smile! His workroom floor is covered in Moretti chips.
Gary is in the middle of building his own home. The splash backs in his new kitchen will be slumped glass designed by Gary and his wife (Ed Note: Very Jealous). In his spare time, which he has precious little of, Gary likes to work with wood, collect glass blown items from other talented glass blowers and build kilns. If you would like more information about Gary's Annealing Kilns (the toasters) contact him on via email. |
